Founder
Barbara J. Cook, M.D. is a board-certified Nuclear Medicine physician and the founder of Nuclear Therapeutics, a private medical practice focused on delivering cutting-edge Radioligand Therapy to men with prostate cancer. With a deep commitment to patient-centered care, Dr. Cook brings this advanced, targeted treatment directly into urology practices—allowing patients to receive therapy in a familiar, trusted setting.
With more than 23 years of clinical experience and specialized training in molecular imaging and targeted radionuclide therapies, Dr. Cook combines technical expertise with a collaborative approach. She works closely with urologists to ensure seamless, coordinated care, offering treatments that prioritize compassion, convenience, and continuity.
Dr. Cook believes in treating not just the disease, but the whole person. Every patient receives a personalized treatment plan informed by the latest advancements in nuclear medicine. By providing Radioligand Therapy to patients, she strives to improve quality of life by targeting cancer at the molecular level while minimizing impact on healthy tissue.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Cook enjoys spending time with her family, boating, and traveling.
